  1. 1. What would have been the optional final form in this example? (In the case where the तृँ-आदेश: is not done.)
The optional final form would have been मघोना।
    मघवन् + आ (अनुबन्ध-लोपः by 1-3-7 चुटू and 1-3-9 तस्य लोपः, ‘मघवन्’ gets भ-सञ्ज्ञा by 1-4-18 यचि भम्)
    मघ उ अन् + आ ( 6-4-133 श्वयुवमघोनामतद्धिते, the अन् ending ‘मघवन्’, which has the भ-सञ्ज्ञा, takes सम्प्रसारणम् when followed by an affix which is not a तद्धितः। By 1-1-45 इग्यणः सम्प्रसारणम् the letter व् is replaced by उ)

    2. How do you say this in Sanskrit?
“Which word used in this verse has the अव्यय-सञ्ज्ञा?” Use the adjective प्रातिपदिकम् “प्रयुक्त” for “used.”

    3. Please list the four synonyms for the indeclinable साकम् (प्रातिपदिकम् “साकम्”, अव्ययम्, meaning “with”) as given in the अमरकोश:।
The synonyms (all indeclinable) of the word “साकम्” are

    4. In this example, the अङ्गम् “मघवत्” has:
    a) पद-सञ्ज्ञा
    d) Both पद-सञ्ज्ञा and भ-सञ्ज्ञा

    5. Which two प्रातिपदिके used in this verse have the घि-सञ्ज्ञा?
    By 1-4-7 शेषो घ्यसखि, “विभु” and “यज्ञपति” (by 1-4-8 पतिः समास एव) get the घि-सञ्ज्ञा।

    6. In commenting on the सूत्रम् 6-4-128 मघवा बहुलम् the तत्त्वबोधिनी says – ‘अर्वणस्त्रसौ’ इत्यतस्तृ इत्यनुवर्तते, तदपेक्षा च “मघवा” इति षष्ठ्यर्थे प्रथमा। Please explain.
The अनुवृत्ति: of “तृँ” comes in to 6-4-128 मघवा बहुलम् from the (prior) सूत्रम् 6-4-127 अर्वणस्त्रसावनञः। This “तृँ” is an आदेश:। As per 1-1-49 षष्ठी स्थानेयोगा we can expect a term in षष्ठी which will tell us who the स्थानी (the term taking the replacement) is. But मघवा is प्रथमा-एकवचनम्। So we have to conclude that this प्रथमा is in the sense of षष्ठी (“मघवा” इति षष्ठ्यर्थे प्रथमा)।

    7. Which सर्वनाम-शब्द: has been used in this verse?
    तम् (प्रातिमदिकम् “तद्”, अत्र पुंलिङ्गे द्वितीया-एकवचनम्), ‘तद्’ belongs to the list of सर्वनाम-शब्दाः defined by 1-1-27 सर्वादीनि सर्वनामानि।

    8. Is the सूत्रम् 6-4-128 मघवा बहुलम् part of the “भस्य” अधिकार:?
    सूत्रम् 6-4-128 मघवा बहुलम् is not part of the “भस्य” अधिकार:।
The भस्य-अधिकारः runs from 6-4-129 भस्य to the end of the chapter, which is 6-4-175 ऋत्व्यवास्त्व्यवास्त्वमाध्वीहिरण्ययानि च्छन्दसि।

    Easy questions:
    1. Where is the सूत्रम् 7-1-9 अतो भिस ऐस् used in this verse?
    In the form

    2. How about 6-1-114 हशि च?
    Between तुष्टो यज्ञभुक्।
