1561 क्रियेति। यदा भावकर्मणोः शस्तदा `सार्वधातुके यक्'। `रिह् शयग्लिङ्क्षु' इति रिङादेशः। अन्यत्र तु यगभावेऽपि शे परतो रिङादेशे कृते इयङि सति रूपं तुल्यम्।

वृत्तिः कृञ इति योगविभाग: । कृञ: क्यप्स्यात् । श च । चात् क्तिन् । This सूत्रम् is split in to two parts – ‘कृञ:’ and ‘श च’। The meaning of the first part is – The affix क्यप्‌ may be used following the verbal root √कृ (डुकृञ् करणे ८. १०) to denote in the feminine gender either (i) the sense of the verbal root as having attained to a completed state or (ii) any कारक: except the agent of the action, provided the word so derived is a proper name.
The meaning of the second part is – The affix ‘श’ may also (in addition to the affix क्तिन्) be used following the verbal root √कृ (डुकृञ् करणे ८. १०) in the same sense.
Note: The purpose of splitting the सूत्रम् in to two parts is to allow the affix क्तिन् to apply in addition to the affix ‘क्यप्’ and ‘श’।

उदाहरणम् – करणं कृत्या/क्रिया/कृति: derived from the verbal root √कृ (डुकृञ् करणे ८. १०)
