Aum Sthira sukham asanam. We have to practice asana in the freshness of the present moment, not from a memory of earlier experience. Asanam is ever new and ever fresh. Sthira sukham asanam. Legs are pressed to the ground. Imagine a string pulling upwards from the top of the upward, and stretch the back upwards well. Now fix the back, don’t allow it to become slack and any physical discomfort in the legs and in the back is accepted joyfully, Sthira.  Sukham, shoulders and hands are kept loosely. There is nothing to do, only to be, that helps the hands to relax. Squeeze the eyes one time and keep them lightly closed. The breath is going on smoothly. Breath is one thing that proves here and now directly that the body has its own dynamic, entirely in the command of the nature, therefore, neither me nor mine. Sport a smile on the lips and just be. Pure being is always associated with the sense of wellness, Just Be. Being, beyond the body and the mind, is ever well. Asanam. Body and mind are never entirely well, whereas, Being, just be. Being is ever well. Being is well-being. Pure being alone is well-being. Just Be. Nothing to do. Be alert, that is being reflected in sattva.Think of a pot, pot Is, that is being reflected in rajoguna. Thought and its content are being conditioned by rajoguna. Allow the thought to drop, be alert, sattvaguna. Just Be, the pure being, gunatita, turiya. Suppose you become sleepy or dull, possible, that is being reflected in tamoguna. Stretch the back upwards, that ends tamoguna and you become alert. Ending of tamas is born of sattva, be alert, the pure being. Just Be. Thinking and doing are external, come and go. Being is intrinsic, meaning myself. Just Be. Keeping the body as a statue helps to avoid the distraction of thinking. Just Be. Suppose thought intervenes, you go after the thought, that is rajoguna. ON the other hand, become alert, thought is a distraction, therefore, treat the thought as such a distraction, nothing more, allow it to go. If I allow, it goes, that ends rajas, be alert. Now just be. Thought is time, thought is means, thought is end, therefore thought is time. In being, no means, no end and therefore no time, just be. Being is peace, don’t be bored by peace, learn to love peace and just be. Be. Aum shanti shanti shantiH. Relax, sit at ease. Being is home, mind and body are not home, world is not home, being is home. Relax. Slowly open the eyes. Aum
