Aum Watch the mind, the brain. Bring out the known, all the known is imprinted in the brain cells, bring it out and reject it. The brain operates among the opposites always. Now, bring out the opposite, the unknown. It is there in the brain, the unknown. Bring it out and reject it. Thus, having become free from the known and the unknown, come down into the heart. Being free from the known and the unknown, abide in the heart as pure being, simply Be. That is freedom and freedom is love. Aum is the prayer of love, thrice now. Aum one.. Aum two.. Aum merge. Now be aware of the posture, stretch the back upwards while pressing the legs to the ground, allow the shoulders and hands to remain loose. Keep the eyes lightly closed and sport a smile and just be yourself. Sthira sukham asanam. Be yourself, asanam; be relaxed yet alert not sleepy, sukham; and do not move sthira. Now, be aware of the right leg, all of it from the toes to the seat and left leg. The seat and the loins, this part of the body, the lower part of the body, always in touch with the floor, predominantly bones and flesh, is prithivi, the miniature earth, derived from the earth and will go back to the earth, prithivi. Be aware of the abdomen which is predominantly aapH, waters, constantly in exchange with whole waters, kind of a small part of water cycle in the world, that is the abdomen. Now I come to the stomach, it is predominantly the fire of digestion, AgniH, the very unique feeling of hunger which is the very characteristic of the tummy, that is fire. This hunger is neither mine nor me because it is a small part of the universal hunger. Visualise the trees and plants hungry, always hungry, the birds and animals ever hungry, the humanity is hungry. The same hunger is present here in this tummy. It’s not personal, it is vaishvanara agniH, the universal fire. Come to the chest, ever so slightly expanding and contracting. Again, very unique aspect, chest is life giving wind, vayuH. Is this vayu person? No, not mine, it is universal. Is it limited, small? No, it is infinite, appears small as it reflects in the chest. As I inhale and exhale I am partaking of universal vayu. I am inheriting the infinite vayuH, brahma, infinite. Namaste vayo, tvameva pratyaksham brahmasi. I am in communion with the vayu, infinite brahma. Then come to the neck which is predominantly the space, the space in the throat, the tongue is in the space of the mouth, then space of the nostrils, space in the earlobes, inside the ears, in and through the ears, that is the space, then the unique space of the eye sockets, between the eyebrows, the space of the sinus. Thus, neck and above is predominantly space, never separate from the universal space, aakasha. Thus, this body, not mine, not me, a conglomerate of prithivi, aapH, agniH, vayuH, aakashaH. I in dwell this body, in the heart as the feeling of I AM, aham in the heart. Aum shanti shanti shantiH. Relax, sit at ease and relax. Don’t rush into movements, relax. Slowly open the eyes. Aum`
