Aum Watch the mind, anytime trying to watch the mind is already meditation. Very simple. That gives a space and there is a beauty in that space. Allow the mind to drop its past. Mind is the past flowing into the present and coloring the present and also flowing into the imagination of the future, thereby, coloring it. That is the flow of the mind, see that and allow the mind to drop its past. What remains? I am, amazingly without a past. What a freedom! I am free from the burden of the past, free from the incessant story in the head. I am. There is beauty and love in that freedom. They express, the freedom-beauty-love, express the sound divine, that is the prayer Aum, thrice now. Aum one.. Aum two.. Aum merge. Just be. Now be aware of the surroundings, I can be aware of the surroundings without opening the eyes. That already proves the pervasiveness of my awareness. I am aware of the surroundings. As awareness I am not limited to the body. In fact, I am aware of the body also. Therefore, I pervade not only the body because I am aware of the body but also I pervade a surrounding because I am aware of the surroundings also. I am aware of the surroundings. Now, I am aware of the body. Stretch the back upwards and press the legs on the floor, keep the shoulders and hands loosely in a relaxed way. Sport a smile. A challenge, can I keep this smile in all situations come what may? Go what may go, can I keep this smile? It’s a challenge. That means the smile is independent of the events. That is freedom. Now, as I smile, the face and the brain relax. I am aware of the body. Be aware of the sensations of the touch all through the body, the multiple sensations of touch, be aware. See that there is not effort required in being aware. It is smooth just be aware of multiple sensations of touch. Be aware of the taste in the mouth. What is the taste? You can be aware but you cannot describe. A tasteless taste if you will. Be aware of the smell in the nose, smell of the air, smell of the breath. What smell it is? You cannot describe. Be aware of your mind, meaning thoughts if any. If there are no thoughts, fine, be aware of that. Be aware of any emotions in the mind, certainly there are. Attachment to things is emotion, be aware of that. In awareness, there is only awareness, no judgement, no condemnation.There must be some aversion or hatred in the mind, be aware of that also. There are many ideas in the mind, don’t call them my ideas, just ideas and be aware of those ideas. Be aware of the intellect, a lot of knowledge is stored in this intellect. Whatever knowledge, could be science, could be humanity, languages, literature. Don’t identify, just be aware. Now, without asking how, be aware of the known in the head. Now, be aware of the unknown in the head. Don’t be unhappy that you do not know, just be aware of the unknown. Now, you try to be aware of the ego. You pick up a relationship and there you find the ego.It is the ego which relates. Is there a seeking of personal advantage in the relationship? That is ego, be aware. Is there an element of psychological dependence in the relation? Could be there. Be aware of that, that is the ego. The ego psychological depend, spouse, off-spring etc. be aware of that movement of the ego. The ego wants to benefit from the relation. Be aware of that, don’t condemn. Now, leave at that and be aware of your own being, not being this or that, just pure being, nothing particular, pure being. Be aware of pure being. Now you reach the home, that is your home.
