Aum Step back from the mind, that is a great sadhana, stepping back from the mind and allow the mind to drop its entire baggage. The truth is I am always carrying the invisible burden of the baggage of the mind. I look at myself and see that always carrying the invisible burden. Now, for a change I allow the mind to let go the past, the future, the emotions, the frustrations everything. Allow the mind to drop and simply I Am that is freedom and freedom is love. Love expresses as prayer in which there are no words. A complex prayer full of words could be a product of desires and fears. Whereas, a simple prayer coming from a simple heart which is a humble heart. A heart free from the burden of ideas is a prayer with no words, that is the prayer Aum, which is natural, spontaneous sound of the heart. It is the prayer of life itself. Life is breathing, the way to do is, you take a deep and slow breath and while exhaling chant mentally not verbally a sacred sound Aum and then most important, merge in the silence, three rounds now. Aum one.. Aum two.. Aum merge. Now, be aware of the body, the posture. Stretch the body upwards while pressing the legs to the ground. Visualise a tree, imagery meditation, standing still with the roots fixed to the ground but reaching the heavens with the branches, staying still, enduring the environs and meditating, the tree. Now, I am the tree. The body which is a frame of bones is fixed to the ground by gravity, whereas; as I meditate my awareness includes heavens, I am a link between earth and heavens while I meditate. Staying still in the body and the mind, the link between earth and heavens, myself. Meditation is the link between the individual and the divinity. Are you distracted? Could happen, don’t be annoyed, just smile, say to yourself, ‘the tree myself’ and be still. Are you waiting for next what? don’t wait. That is the habit of the mind, allow it to be dropped. Be the tree. Be still, except for the movement of the breathe. Be silent within. Silence within, inner silence. In the name of silence, are you becoming sleepy or dull? One more time stretch the back, press the legs down, sport a smile and be treelike, enduring any discomfort, enduring the environs still in the body, and silent inwardly, with a smile on the lips. I am the tree, treelike. I learn from the tree to meditate. Silent meditation is the blossoming of the soul. Just Be. Silence within. Kshamata. Treelike vruksha eva stabdhau divi tishthati. Just Be. Tree. Aum shanti shanti shantiH. Relax, sit at ease, massage the legs if necessary and relax. Whenever you see a tree, be a student of the tree. Relax. Slowly open the eyes. Aum
