Aum. Look at the mind and allow the mind to drop the past, something like I am without the past that is something I am without the memory of the past. Then who am I? It is very interesting to note that that question cannot be answered without the memory of the past. Who am I? Who am I? Look at the mind and allow the mind to drop its imagination of the future, something like I am but no future. It is amazing I am but no future. I am divested of past and future simply I Am. Without the burden of past and future, simply I am the pure Being. Not being this or that, just the pure Being and being is freedom because there is no time in it, time is bondage, being is timeless, is freedom, freedom is love. Love expresses as the sacred sound Aum, mentally the outgoing breath thrice, now. Aum...silence, Aum...Aum...silence. Sthira Sukham Asanam, beginning with the legs, back, relaxing the shoulders, tummy, chest, recollect Dakshinamurty, silent and smiling. Sport a smile, which relaxes the face, eyes and the brain. Sthira Sukham Asanam. Be still in the body, it makes the mind still. Abide in yourself peacefully. Be aware of the surroundings without any judgment like comfortable, uncomfortable etc., without a judgment, without a label, just be aware of the surroundings. It is very interesting to note that the mind is silent and there is no awareness, there is only awareness of surroundings. Be aware of the distant sounds without any name, the distant sounds. Be aware of the nearby sounds, if any, without any label. Be aware of the sounds, distant or nearby, all sounds. It is very interesting to note that when you are aware of a sound, you are silent within. Aware of a sound or sounds without naming, without judging, creates inner silence, without labeling, creates inner silence and that is meditation. The moment you give a name or pass a judgment, that is the mind, just be aware of the sounds around. If the mind tries to label or name, hold it back, do not allow to move forward in terms of labeling and just be aware. Just be aware. Be alert, squeeze the eyes twice, one, two, keep them lightly closed, need not open, that makes you alert and be aware of the sounds around, that prevents sleepiness, be aware of the sounds outside, even as there is silence little. Now be aware of the silence around, the silence all around, which is the background of all sounds. Be aware of the silence all around, the background silence all around, the deep silence all around, the boundless silence, the infinite silence all around, that makes you fully aware and deeply silent. Outer deep silence, inner deep silence. Now there is no outer-inner division, it is silence, deep silence. Aware is silence and silence is awareness. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, be silent and relax. Silence deeply relaxes the mind, nervous system etc. Relax, slowly open the eyes. Aum.
