Aum. Watch the mind. Do not ask how, just do it. Allow the mind to drop its entire baggage, just do it and just Be. Having dropped this baggage, (?) which preparing all the time, it drops if I allow it to drop. It is because I hold onto it. The moment I allow it to drop, it drops, and I am free. I am free. The thoughts, the binding thoughts, could come back but then I would treat these thoughts as mere distractions which they are. When they come back I would treat them as mere distractions which of course they are. Therefore, I am free. Freedom is never in the future, it is ever present. Now, I am free and freedom is love. Try to see, trying is the all important thing, try to see I am free and freedom is love and love expresses as a simple prayer not the complex prayers of the mind. It is a simple prayer, in which there is no language. It is the sacred sound Aum. The prayer consists of taking a deep breath and while exhaling, mentally not verbally chant Aum thrice. That is the simple prayer. Now Aum. Silence begins. Aum. Aum. Merge in the silence. Silence. Now be aware of the posture, sthira sukham asanam that is the sutra. First is sthira then sukha. Begin with the legs. Legs should be firmly placed on the ground. Do not move except for the required movement. Legs are firmly placed on the ground, no movement. Be aware of the back and stretch the back upwards, stretch it well and fix the back. Now do not allow it to move or bend, keep it locked. Notice any discomfort or pain   in the legs and in the back, accept it. Do not mentally resist pain, accept it and ignore it. Once you accept, it gets ignored. Now do not move, any urge to move, you ignore because if you obliged the urge one time and move, you will have to move the second tome and second time. Just curb it first time, do not move, sthira. Be like statue. Ignore any discomfort or any urge to move and just be like a statue. Sthira, be like a statue. Sthira, do not move, do not adjust a throat unless it is a must, sthira. Sukham means relax. Stability, stillness is not opposed to relaxation,in fact, both are complimentary. Be aware of the shoulders and hands, notice the shoulders are little hunched up and the hands tight. Allow the shoulders and the hands to relax. Place the hands in the lap at the point which is comfortable to you may be little ahead or in the middle. Little ahead gives you balance but very losely held. Not the back, back should remain firm and stretched, only hands. Be aware of the stomach, the muscles could be tight due to stress. Unhappiness and insecurity generates a lot of stress which make the muscles tight. Allow the muscles of the tummy to relax, don't ask how just do it. Relax the chest. Now come to the face. Recollect Dakshinamurty with imperceptible smile on the lips. Sport a smile on the lips that relaxes the muscles of the face and also the eyes. Be aware of the brain with its constant projections of sorrow and fear. Allow the sorrow evaporate upwards, just do it. Sorrow evaporates upwards, worries, insecurities evaporate upwards and now the brain relaxes. Now I am still, sthira, meaning the body does not move except for the breathing. Interestingly when the body doesn't move, the mind doesn't move either, sthira and it is very interesting that when the body-mind are still, I am fully alert, sthira and at the same time I am nicely relaxed, there is no tightness or grimness, nicely relaxed, sukha. Asanam meaning abiding peacefully in oneself. Atamni avasthanam asanam. The body is still, mind is still, I am alert and relaxed, abiding in myself peacefully, abiding peacefully in yourself. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, meaning sit at ease, keeping the eyes closed, continue to be relaxed, don't  rush into movement of the body and the thoughts, don't be like I am sure about it. Continue to be relaxed, quite, abiding peacefully into yourself, make it natural, relax. Do not start all movement and all thoughts at once. Now slowly open the eyes.
