Aum Take a deep breath thrice. Prayer with Aum thrice. Aum. Just Be. I accept the surroundings and just Be, not waiting, not anticipating. Drop all plans for the day and just Be. Being is not only calm but also ever fresh. Be aware of the posture, stretch the back well, relax the shoulders and hands, sport a smile and allow the brain to relax. Now decide not to move any more. Any urge to move, just ignore. Knowing that moving one time needs to move a second time. Knowing that, just ignore. Watch the breath. Do not project it is good or bad, don't call it shallow or anything, just watch the breath. Be like the gatekeeper, always watching, doing nothing. I am the gatekeeper watching without doing. Watch the breath. Do not control the breath, just watch. Do not exercise any will upon the breath. Be without any will, no will, just watch. Watch the tummy as it rises and falls along with the breathing. Do not control the muscles of the tummy, do not identify, just watch. I am not watching myself, I am watching the breathing statue. Watch the belly as it rises and falls. This is the Belly-Buddha Meditation. The trick is not to identify with the belly. There is no mind, there is only breath and there is a belly rising and falling. Normally breathe merges in the mind but now the mind is merged in the breath. Just watch the belly, watch the breath and come to the chest. There is a very subtle expansion and contraction of the chest, much smaller than the belly. Carefully shift from the belly to the chest. You take your time. By now you much have shifted to the chest. Ignore any sounds, just watch the breath and the chest. Do not be bored by the gate keeping job, be devoted to the job, be the sincere gatekeeper and watch the breath going in and coming out. Do not control the chest, do not identify with the chest. I am watching a breathing statue. Ignore any sensation like a smell or a sound or like a touch and watch the chest. I am the gatekeeper always watching, not doing anything, not even identifying, just watching. If you feel sleepy or dull, stretch the back and continue watching. Learn to ignore any sensation, learn to ignore any thought if it occurs. Be focused on the chest and be devoted to watching. As you watch the mind and nervous system deeply relaxed, just watching. This is the Chest-Buddha Meditation. Now Buddha has a wide chest. Instead of big belly, Buddha has wide chest. Who watches without doing anything, without identifying, is Buddha. There is Buddha in you. Buddhoham. Now stop watching, take your time in getting disassociated from the chest and the breath. Do not begin thinking, shifting to pure Being. Just Be. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, keep the eyes closed and relax. Breath is a great teacher and it has many secrets to teach. Slowly open the eyes.
