Aum. Take a deep breath thrice. Prayer with Aum thrice. Aum Aum Aum. I look at myself and drop all the plans that I have for the day and I abide peacefully in myself as myself without being this or that I just be myself. Just Be. Don't be this or that, just Be. Sthirasukhamasanam. Be aware of the posture. Do not think about the posture, just be aware. Be aware of the posture without thinking. Get hold of that difference between awareness and thinking. Be aware of the posture. Stretch the back upwards as well as you can and fix it. Do not allow the back to bend. That makes you very alert. Now start relaxing the shoulders, keep them loose, not hunched up, hands are also held up loosely. Look at the tummy, could be tight, allow it to relax. Chest relaxed. Watch the face, sport a smile, squeeze the eyes one time and keep them lightly closed. Allow the forehead to relax and also the brain. Now the body is still, not moving, keep it that way. The mind is also still and you are alert and relaxed. Even the breath becomes slow. Sthira sukham asanam. Do not move, abide peacefully in yourself. Asanam. Be aware of the right leg, all of it. Feel the life, inner life, the aliveness in the right leg, not thinking about the right leg. Feeling the inner life of the right leg. Take your time, get hold of the aliveness and hold on to it. Don't allow yourself to be distracted. Now be aware of the left leg and feel the inner life. The aliveness in the left leg. Do not move the body, do not allow the mind to be distracted, just feel the inner life in the left leg, tummy. Feel the aliveness in the stomach, the chest, the right hand, feel the aliveness in the right hand, left hand. Feel the aliveness in the backbone, all of it, not from outside, from within. Keep it stretched. It is the vertical axes inside the body, try, try to get hold of the aliveness. Keep a smile and feel the aliveness in the head, neck and above. Now feel the aliveness in both the legs and the hands simultaneously. Do not move, do not allow the mind to be distracted, feel the aliveness in the hands and the legs. Now feel the aliveness in the entire body. This aliveness is the formless in the form. Body has a shape but aliveness has no shape, the shapeless in the shape. The aliveness is the life, pranaH, the foundation of living. I am busy with the living, remaining ignorant of the foundation. Feel the aliveness in the entire body. That is the life, pranaH, the formless in the form. The aliveness is timeless, the body is in time, the mind is in time, but the aliveness is timeless, hence always fresh, never repetitive, always present, no past, no future. Feel the aliveness in the entire body. Now go deep, go deep. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, you may move a little, keep the eyes closed. Don't begin thought process immediately, stay with the aliveness. Aliveness meditation promotes wellness, improves immunity, reduces body identification, makes the mind calm. Relax. Slowly open the eyes.
