I understand these mental states, very habitual and even addictive in nature, allow them to drop and abide peacefully in the present moment. Present moment is a fact, it is given, need not be created, need not be accomplished. It is ever present. I only need to embrace it. When we get attached to the things of the world, we lose the present moment. Present moment is always beautiful, ever fresh, not possible to explain why it is so but ever fresh. I remind myself about the present moment, whenever needed by saying to myself Now, Now. That is enough to establish present moment awareness. Now. Now. Now. Present moment has no time in it, it is timeless. It is not a continuity, it is simply timeless, simply it Is. Now. Now. In the present moment awareness, there is no sorrow, never any sorrow, not even the cause for sorrow. Sorrow overtakes only when you lose the present moment. Now. Now. In the present moment awareness, there is no fear, not even the cause of fear. Now. Be aware of the posture, stretch the back well, allow the shoulders to relax, hands, tummy, chest. Sport a smile, give an auto suggestion to the brain to relax. As I am aware of the posture, I am already in the present moment. Just being aware of the posture takes me into the embrace of the present moment. I Am in the present. I Am never connected to the past, always present. Add (?) anything to I am, that becomes the past. I Am is never associated with future, never. I Am always in the present moment. In fact, I Am the present moment. What is the present moment?
