Aum. You have to take a deep breath consciously in order to leave behind the entire movement of the mind and progress towards the state of pure Being, that is the purpose, thrice now. Prayer Aum thrice now. Aum...Aum...Aum. Just Be. Pure Being by dropping all movement of the mind, without waiting, without seeking. One has to see that the mind is almost constantly in seeking mode, seeking, seeking wealth, seeking pleasures, seeking God and finally seeking the Self. Now I drop all seeking, I allow all seeking to drop. When I am not seeking, mind remains naturally silent. Not seeking any reward even for this meditation, free from the very seeking. I see that seeking is time, in the absence of seeking, I am and there is no time. Just Be. When there is no seeking, when there is no time, the mind is naturally silent, called Sahaja Yoga. Just Be. Sthirasukhamasanam, be aware of the posture, few things are done deliberately not mechanically meaning not from a memory of earlier expericence, done in the present moment. The back is upright, shoulders and hands are relaxed, relaxing the tummy and the chest, helps reduce the stress level, sporting a smile, squeezing the eyes one time and keeping lightly closed, leave the eyes alone and allow the brain to relax. The simple way to relax the brain is to drop the idea of the mind and Be. Nothing perceived is mind, nothing perceived is me, that slowly relaxes the brain. Sthirasukhamasanam. Meditation is an exploration into oneself. Sthira sukham asanam. Watch the breath, do not lable the breath, it is neither good nor bad, watching without projecting is meditation. Now make deliberately the breath slow. Slowly breathing, after a very brief gap, slowly breathing out. Be totally absorb in the breathing. As you watch the breathing, there is no time, avoid jerks while slowing down and maintain a nice rhythm of breathing in and breathing out slowly. Now focus on urdhwadrishti . As you breath out the flow of vital force is upwards, from the heart upwards to the sinus. Urdhwadrishti helps to reduce identity with the body. If you have any little throat irritation, infection you will not be able to do it. You stop and sit. Establish the urdhwadrishti. Now add the silent Aum, the mental chant of Aum into that urdhwadrishti, begining with small gap after inhalation. Aum...Aum. Don't allow yourself to be distracted, accept any or all sound, be totatly absorb in the slow breathing in, a very brief gap, and the upward chant of Aum, continue. Aum...Aum...Aum. Do not slacken, hold that high energy state and continue, Aum...Aum. Last three times. Aum...Aum...Aum. Continue slow breathing without Aum. Stop slow breathing but continue watch the breath. Slowly disassociate the focus from the breath. Be aware of the posture, the entire breathing apparatus is nicely stretched. Just Be. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease and relax. Slowly open the eyes.
