Aum. Deep breath three times. Normally I am one with the mind but it is very interesting to note that as I take a deep breath atleast thrice, the identity with the mind snaps and I am in the domain of the Being. That is where all movement begins and all knowledge begins, the domain of pure Being. The prayer thrice Aum mentally while exhaling only, now. Aum...Aum...Aum I am aware of the enviorance, accept totally. I look at myself and accept totally, that maybe a bit more difficult but try to accept. Stop waiting or anticipating that is enough to abide as pure Being. Be aware of the posture, keep the back upright, shoulders relaxed, keep a smile. Now resolve not to move anymore. If there is an urge to move and if you oblige it soon you will have to move one more time. Therefore, take it as a challenge and do not move anymore. As you keep the body still, between the myself and the body there are no thoughts. As I witness the body, between myself and the body, there are no thoughts. That is called awareness of the body. It is very interesting to note that when I am aware of the body, mind resolves and when the mind is active, the awareness is covered up. Be aware of the body. When you are aware of the body, as the mind resolves, even the prana becomes slow. Breathing becomes slow. It is easy to be distracted but it is possible to avoid distraction. The moment you notice that there is distraction, stop it with a smile and immediately be aware of the body. Make the body anchor to awareness. As you make the body anchor of awareness, the world of thoughts is no more. Slowly I become familiar with myself, be aware of the body. Whatever be the object of awareness, it is called the Buddha state, be aware of the body. It is easy to slip into tamoguna, laziness or sleepiness, it is possible to avoid the tamas by stretching the back upwards, ignore any discomfort, lock the back in stretched position, fix it, keep a smile, allow the jaw to relax, shoulders to relax, that improves alertness and be aware of the body. Body is still, breathing slow, don't regulate the breathing, thoughts are absent and I am the witness of all. This is yoga. Be aware of the body. Be aware of the lower body, from toes upto the loins. Look at the lower body as this body, not mine, try, not me, this body. It should not be difficult, this body. Keep the smile, this body. Remain alert, be aware of the middle part of the body, from the loins upto the neck, including hands. See the difference, it is closer to me and mine, but still look at middle body as this. It is very interesting to note that if you have strong sense of doership, cannot look at the hands as this because doership is identification with hands mostly. Explore yourself. Look at the middle body including handsas this, not me not mind, try. Now come to the neck and above, be aware of the head. Here the sense of me and mine is very strong, see that and try to look at the head as this. You may find it hard but try, it is a game between this and me, try, this body. Now visualise the entire body as this body. Learn to explore yourself. You have to explore yourself. Just Be. Aum Shanti Shanti ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, massage the legs if necessary, keep the eyes closed and relax. Be aware, no hurry to start thinking , be relaxed.
