AUM Look at the mind and allow the mind to empty itself. The silence of the mind is love and the love manifest as prayer Aum NamaH Shivaya... Aum NamaH Shivaya...Aum NamaH Shivaya... Shree Gurubhyo NamaH...Sthira sukhamasanam. Be aware of the posture. Visualise a tree with the roots fixed in the ground and touching the heavens with its branches, standing steady and meditating. And I am the tree with the body and the skeleton fixed to the ground but the awareness reaching the heavens, pervading the heavens, upright, silent, accepting the surroundings. Acceptance is freedom, acceptance leads to silence and thus abiding peacefully in myself. I can abide in myself peacefully, comfortably. I do not need any things, I do not need to own any things to abide peacefully in myself. I need not depend psychologically on any relation to be comfortable in myself. I abide peacefully in myself, I am not psychologically dependent on any things or any relations. I am alone and I am at peace. I am alone and I am at peace. Shantoham...Shantoham. Thus abiding peacefully in oneself, thus breaking the bonds of psychological dependence, abiding peacefully in oneself, is asanam. I remain alert and upright, remain relaxed and uninvolved even with the body and abide peacefully. Be aware of the eyes, eyes are lightly closed not pressed. As I am aware of the eyes, I can notice that the mind is silent. Be alert, don't become sleepy and just be aware of the eyes. As long as you are aware of the eyes, there is silence within. When you tend to become lazy or sleepy, stretch the back up, remain alert and be aware of the eyes. The water in the pot becomes pure when not disturbed, similarly mind becomes pure when it remains silent. Now be aware of the eyes and remain silent, be aware of the eyes and remain silent. You can further deepen the silence, keep the back stretched and keep the irises of both the eyes in the center of the two eyes without moving. Keep the irises, the eyeballs, in the center, not moving. They are in the center and they are not moving , still, do it. Keep in the center with no movement. Continue to keep in the center without any movement, don't press the eyelids. A little movement of the eyelids is not unusual but the irises remain fixed, and the mind goes into deep silence but you remain fully alert. Keep in the center, keep in the center without motion, keep a smile on the lips, in the center, no movement. Now focus both the eyes between the eyebrows, keep the eyes closed, but focus both the eyes between the eyebrows. You take your time to gain that focus between the eyebrows. As you focus between the eyebrows, you remain as pure awareness which is same as watchfulness. Focus between the eyebrows and abide as pure awareness between the eyebrows. Shivoham...Shivoham. Focus between the eyebrows. Chidananda rupaH Shivoham Shivoham Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, keep the eyes closed and relax. Try to retain the inner silence as well as you can. Go back into that silence whenever you can. Slowly open the eyes. Aum.
