AUM   Watch the mind, bring up the content of the mind under the category 'known', many many things known and allow the mind to drop that content. I am free from the known. I seperate myself from the known. Mind has the opposite 'the unknown' a lot and allow the mind to drop that content also which is same as giving up the notion that I do not know. Giving up the identification with ajnana, i do not know, I give up that notion means I seperate myself from the embrace of ajnana. I embrace ah saying that I do not know, I give up that notion. I neither know nor do not know. simply I Am and I love. In contrast to the prayer which is the movement of desire, now the prayer is a movement of love. Aum NamaH Shivaya, the movement of love, Aum NamaH Shivaya, Aum NamaH Shivaya. Shree Gurubhyo NamaH, sthira sukhamasanam. The essence of meditation is detach, relax and silence. I detach from the world which means I watch, try to watch the world without involving then follows relax and be silent, saakshi. Then I detach from the family, stop involving in the lives of near and dear. Even detach from the idea of mine and then relax and be silent. The silence is natural not imposed, silence, silence following detachment is spontaneous. Then look at the body, look at the body as food-body annamaya. As I take the annamaya as myself which is the attachment, I create an endless strife and struggle, I detach. I go deeper by leaving the food-body behind, that is accomplished by the saakshi-bhava, abiding as the witness. I detach from the body meaning not attached as me. Relax and be silent, abide peacefully. Detach from all, step back if you will from all, meaning from the world I step back from the family, mine, I step back from the body, me. I step back, that puts an end to all causes of worry and concern. I relax, that effectively ends the noise of the mind, I remain silent, the silence born out of viveka and vairagya, silent. The silence is the natural state of mind, not a given thought, any thought, silence. Silence is natural to the mind, not a given thought, silence, sahajam, silence. Silence is sahajam, appreciate that and be silent. When the mind is silent, it merges in its source which is pure Being, silent. Silence is sahaj yogaH, natural, spontanious communion with the pure Being, sahaj yogaH. Silence is sahaj yogaH, be silent, chup. Do not try to understand the silence or to understand the pure Being, that becomes the noise, just be silent, chup...chup. Go deep. Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease and relax. Try to remain uninvolved and relaxed . Slowly open the eyes.
