AUM. Look at the mind. Mind which is normally busy and even biwildered becomes quite when you look at it. Look at the mind and notice the power of looking at the mind, the power of witnessing. A quite mind is a strong mind. Look at the mind, the silence of the mind is love. Mind is silent but I am and I love. I pray with love, Aum NamaH Shivaya, Aum NamaH Shivaya, Aum NamaH Shivaya. Shree Gurubhyo NamaH, sthira sukhamasanam. Be aware of the posture. When I am aware of the posture, there is no activity of the mind between myself and the posture, notice that. Simply by being aware of the posture, mind becomes silent. The posture is upright and yet relaxed. Deliberate relaxation helps to eliminate the stress, accumulated stress. The hands and shoulders are relaxed, stomach and chest are relaxed. Allow the stomach and chest to relax, they remain tight because of the subconscious fear or worry. Allow the jaw to relax with a smile, eyes are relaxed , the brain is relaxed. Giving up the sense of enjoyership and the sense of doership deeply relaxes the brain. Sthira sukhamasanam, I am with myself, I abide peacefully in myself which is meditation. I abide peacefully in myself. Be alert and do not allow distraction. Becoming sleepy is tamoguna, getting distrated is rajoguna, remaining alert is satva. The state of satva is meditation, abide peacefully. Be aware of the surroundings, there is peace and silence in the surroundings. Even when you hear a sound there is always silence in the background. There can be no sound without the silence in the background, be aware of that silence. When you hear a sentence there is silence in the background. You cannot hear a sentence without silence in the background, be aware of the silence all around. Be aware of the silence and peace all around. You can indeed listen to the silence as much as you listen the sounds. Develop the ear for the silence, be aware of the silence around. Be deeply aware of the silence and peace all around. Interestingly, when I am aware of the silence all around, there is utter silence within. Be aware of the silence all around. Don't look for movement or sound, try to look for silence and peace, you will find it all around and then you will find it in yourself. Be aware of prithivi, earth, just do it don't ask how. Prithivi is always silent and peaceful. You always look at the noisy and conflicted societies, try to look at prithivi, aum bhuH which is always silent and peaceful. As you look at silence and peace in prithivi, you create silent and peace within. Prithivi is always meditating, dhyayati prithivi, shanta prithivi. Be aware of the open space which is always silent and peaceful. In spite of the noise of the world, the open space antariksha is silent and peaceful Aum bhuH, silent and peaceful. Visualise the infinite depth of the space, the space of the heaven which is always silent and peaceful. Aum suvaH, the universe bhuH bhuvaH suvaH is silent and peaceful. Now I look within, I am silent and peaceful. I see silence and peace in myself and I can keep it, nobody can stop it. I can keep silence and peace in myself, shantoham, Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, slowly open the eyes.
