AUM. Look at the mind and allow the mind to drop all its desires even a little expectation is taken as a desire, allow it to drop. This is something like I do not seek anything from the God, anything from the world, anything from the body-mind. Allow the mind to drop all fear, any worry or concern about myself or about the others, is called fear. I try to see that there is nothing, absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Fear is entirely a product of thought, I am not afraid of God, I am not afraid of the world, I am not afraid on account of near and dear, I am not afraid on account of body-mind. When there is no fear and there is no desire, the mind becomes silent and silence of the mind is love. I love and I pray with love. Aum NamaH Shivaya. A meditative prayer is very simple, it is not complex. Complexity of the prayer is complexity of thought. Aum NamaH Shivaya. Aum NamaH Shivaya. Shree Gurubhyo NamaH. Be aware of the posture, get hold of the vertical axis, and allow the body to relax around the vertical axis. Posture is always fresh, it remains fresh if you keep memory away meaning when the mind is silent, posture is fresh. Allow the hands and shoulders to relax, tummy, chest. Sport a smile, jaw and the tongue relaxed, eyes relaxed, the brain relaxes. Remain alert by stretching the back, at the same time remain relaxed by abiding peacefully. Abide peacefully. The moment mind distracts, be aware of the posture and abide peacefully. Shantoham, I abide peacefully. Watch the breath, breath is always present whereas mind is always past. Therefore watching the breath is the simplest way to abide in the present. Mind cannot operate or move in the present, it can move only in the past. Therefore as you watch the breath, mind becomes silent. But mind wants to move, it creates a digration, smile at it, drop the digration and watch the breath. If you do not allow the mind to digrace it wants to sleep. Avoid that by stretching the back and remaining alert. Watch the breath, watching breath is meditation. Now make the breath slow and deliberate. Breath in deeply then breath out fully and deeply without holding the breath whether inside or outside. Avoid jerks, with a little practice you can easily avoid jerks. If you notice a jerk about to happen, slow down, jerk smoothens out. This is a beautiful exercise for inner organs, once the rhythm is set, introduce the mental chant Aum during exhalation only. Aum. Following  Aum  there is a deep silence and then inhalation begins again. Aum ...Aum.  This could be a demanding meditation in the beginning. Aum . Now following Aum  you chant akamoham,   it is like Aum akamoham meaning I am desireless. Aum akamoham, Aum akamoham, Aum akamoham, Aum akamoham. Now asangoham I am unattached. Aum asangoham, Aum asangoham, Aum asangoham. Now abhayoham, I am fearless. Aum abhayoham, Aum abhayoham, Aum abhayoham, Aum abhayoham. Now drop the chant but continue to breath in and out slowly. Now stop slow breathing but continue to watch normal breath. Now stop watching the breath and abide peacefully. AUM ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease and relax. Slowly open the eyes.
