AUM. Look at the mind. Mind is generally busy and bewildered, but When I look at the mind gradually it becomes slow or quite and harmonious. Aim at harmony of the mind. The goal of the meditation is to make the mind quite and harmonious instead of busy and conflicted. Look at the mind. Allow the mind to become empty by dropping all its notions, conflicts, concerns and worries. I AM. I Am in the heart. I Am and I love, nothing in particular, just love, try. I pray with love. Shree Ganeshaya NamaH. I try to pray without seeking a reward, any reward. That is true love. I am grateful to saint and sages of the world. Shree Gurubhyo NamaH. Sthira sukhamasanam. Be aware of the posture. Just be aware of the posture. Now a thumbrule of meditation. Whenever a mind waivers, be aware of the posture. Very simple, don't condemn the mind when it waivers, but you should be alert. Alert enough to be aware of the posture. this is the practice of shama, shamata, the quitude of the mind. You need not accomplish anything in respect of the self. What all I need to accomplish is the training of the mind, not controlling the mind, just training of the mind, allowing the mind to learn. Whenever the mind waivers simply be aware of the posture. The posture consists of the upper body relaxed not stiff nicely relaxed around the upright vertical axis. Keep the upper body nicely relaxed. Don't ask how just do it, around the upright vertical axis. Imagine a string attach to the top of the head pulling upwards. Now relax around the vertical axis begining with hands and shoulders. Pay attention to the stomach, allow the stomach to relax. Look at the heart, allow the heart to relax, allow the heart to drop all its fears, worries. Allow it to drop insecurity, or surrender the worries, insecurities to Ishwara. Surrender, don't ask how just do it. Say Rama Rama and surrender. Any   anxiety in the heart could be common nothing to feel guilty about. Don't deny, acknowledge, say Rama and surrender anxiety, if any. Relax. Relax the jaw, sport a smile. Relax the tongue, the facial, muscles of the face. Look downwards by keeping the eyes lightly closed. As part of shamata   the practice of quititude of the mind, I try to see things, without looking at them, just seeing without looking, I will practice. Now I hear sounds, without listening to the sounds. Hearing takes place, there is hearing, no listening of sounds. As I accept the weather, the sense of touch, just senses, cold or heat whatever, there is no projection to back up the sense of touch, just mere sensing. Mere sensing without the projection of comfort or discomfort. Same with the nose, mere sening without any projection of the mind. To sum up the sense organs merely sense, nothing more.   It establishes shamata, quitude in the mind and also establishes harmony in the mind, harmony. shantoham. I am established in quitude of the mind. whenever the mind wanders, just be aware of the posture. Shantoham. I am conscious, I am not sleepy, I am conscious but the mode of consciousness is quitude and harmony. Shantoham. Just Be. I am  or better I Be. The consciousness of Being, I Be. Contrast the consciousness of Being with consciousness of having, I have a home, I have a family, I have some wealth, I have a position in the society. This consciousness of having is ego, see that, it is the ego. Again I want to have more wealth, may be, more comforts, more control on the family, may be. Want to have, I want to have. This consciousness of wanting things is ego. I see the movement of ego, this is how the ego moves. Drop having, adopt Being , consciousness of Being. The consciousness of Being, it is the egoless consciousness, the door to Reality, the door to the Truth. Just Be. AUM. ShantiH, shantiH, shantiH. Relax. Sit at ease and relax. Try to cultivate the consciousness of Being which is called aatmanishta, aatmaniavasthanam, in the words of Shankara Bhagvada Pada. Slowly open the eyes.
