AUM Shree Ganeshay NamaH Shree Gurubhyo NamaH Sthira sukhamasanam. Keep the eyes lightly closed, watch the posture. Idam shariram, this body. Be aware of the body, you are not thinking of the body, you are just aware of the body. While thinking of the body there is always identification, whereas when you are aware of the body there is discrimination. This body, a statement 'this body' is meaningful only when I am aware of the body. When I am aware of the body, between the body and myself, there is no mind. Between the body and myself, there is no mind. If mind comes that is obviously a distraction, I am aware of the body. Watch the breath, just be aware of the breath. If you judge the breath, good or bad, shallow or otherwise, that is the mind. When you are deeply aware of the breath, there is no mind. Can I be similarly aware of the mind ? Yes. But one has to try. I try to know my mind and I try to guide my mind. I look into my mind and see the illwill, hatred accumulated there as events happen and we interact people. I allow the illwill to take roots. It is like nursing poison in the heart, it is like acid in the vessel of the heart. This is the major obstacle of peace and harmony. I do not want the drama of conflict   and illwill, I want peace and harmony. Ego does not want peace and harmony, ego comes in the way. Please note it, because ego thrive on hatred and illwill. I see the movement of ego which is same as movement of mind. I am aware of the movement of ego. When I am aware of the ego, ego evaporates because it is not real, it is a shadow. Awareness alone is real. I surrender to Ishwara and pray with intent, always guarding against mechanicalness, trying to be intentful, trying to intend. Simply I mean it. I surrender to Ishwara and pray, 'May I be well, happy and peaceful' 'May I be well, happy and peaceful'. 'May the immidiate family members be well, happy and peaceful'. 'May the relatives, larger circle of relatives, be well, happy and peaceful'. 'May the friends be well, happy and peaceful'. As I pray thus, already peace engulfs me. I am full of peace. 'May the indifferent people be well, happy and peaceful'. Visualize birds in the sky, flying in the sky or resting in their nests. 'May the birds be well, happy and peaceful' 'May the animals roaming on the land be well, happy and peaceful' 'May the woods, trees, plants and all plant-life be well, happy and peaceful' Now remember an enemy or a person whom you do not like, who faught with you, whom you do not like, as I am wishing happiness for the animals I am only aware there is no ego, almost not there. But as I remember the adversory, there is a small stuff in the heart, a little heaviness in the heart. And then there is the ego, I see this movement of the ego. Now I wish these adversaries, one-two-three-four, whom the ego wants to call bad people, be aware of them. Just be aware and then pray, 'May these people be well, really well, happy. Bless them, may they be happy and peaceful' 'May I be well, happy and peaceful'. Drop all mental effort and just Be.   Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, keep the eyes closed. Be aware of your heart, it could be heavy, heart could be at peace, just be aware. Don't judge, just be aware. Slowly open the eyes.
