AUM Shree Ganeshay NamaH Shree Gurubhyo NamaH Sthira sukhamasanam. Keep the back stretched and locked, I mean fixed, hands are held in mahamudra in the lap, eyes are lightly closed, sport a smile on the lips. Now watch the posture, it is sthiram, interestingly the mind is also sthiram. At once there is shanti, the peace of inner Being. This shanti did not come a new, it is timelessly, it is the ashanti that comes and goes. This shanti is the Being, not the Being anything in particular, just the Being. The shanti is the knowing without the known. Shanti is the Being shining as the knowing, in which there is no doing. Shanti is sat-chit, sat - the Being shining as the chit - the knowing. Sat-chit is same as Vitthala, vid - the knowing of sthala - the Being, Vitthala. Knowing of the Being, more preciously knowing that is the Being, Vitthala, awareness of the Being, Vitthala. This is the asanam, Vitthala. Be aware of your own Being, Vitthala. Awareness of the Being is meditation, Vitthala. Awareness of the Being has no content, has no variety. The variety and the content are of the mind, Vitthala. I can see that the variety and the content of the mind cover up the inner Being. When the variety and the content of the mind is dropped, obviously I am the awareness of the Being, Vitthala, Vitthala. Alertfully empting the mind of its content and variety leads to Vitthala, the awareful Being, Vitthala, Vitthala. This is called Ishwara darshanam, visiting the lord, Vitthala. This is the highest spiritual practice, Vitthala. Stop looking for variety and content, become bland as it were, Vitthala. Do not wait for any instructions, that is the mind, just Be, Vitthala. Instead of loving the content and variety of the mind, try to love the pure Being, Vitthala. Do not become sleepy, remain alert and just Be, Vitthala. If the mind digraces, don't be annoyed, don't make the mind an adversory, just smile and chant mentally Aum and agaion merge into the pure Being, Vitthala. Do not try to understand the Being, that makes it other, just Be. It is the Being shining as the knowing, not to be grasped with the mind. Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, massage the legs if necessary. Visit the inner Being as much as you can, worship the inner Being as God. Slowly open the eyes.
