AUM Shree Ganeshay NamaH. I remember the lord Ganesha with love and devotion and surrender myself, sharanagati. Shree Gurubhyo NamaH. Watch the mind and try, try to drop the past, all of it. Without any past, who am I ? Examine, it is very fascinating to examine, without any past, by suspending the memory, who am I ? Understand if you answer that question or even make an attempt to answer, that is already the past, the memory. Who am I ? Leave that question there, let it germinate. Watch the posture, if needed stretch the back and lock it in place. If you learn to ignore a little discomfort either in the back or in the legs, they will stop bothering you. Sthira sukhamasanam. Keep the hands in mahamudra, which signifies acceptance, acceptance of all, not grudgingly but lovingly, acceptance, that is the mudra. Sport a smile on the lips, remember bhagwan Buddha, always in meditation, with an imperceptible smile on the lips. The smile signifies samattvam, equanimity, the equanimity is the yoga, persuit, samattvam yoga uchhyate. When you accept, there is inner silence. When you are equanimous, there is inner silence. Every aspect of meditation is aimed at inner silence. When you are silent, Bhagwan speaks, when you are noisy, Bhagwan remains silent. Watch the eyes from within, see that they are lightly closed, not pressing. The mind becomes silent when you watch the eyes. The silence becomes even deeper when you keep the irises in the center of the eyes without any motion. They are already in the center, already motionless, doesn't matter, you keep them in the center without any motion. This is one of the shambhavi mudras. This deepens the inner silence and at the same time purifies the mind. Daily twice, each time 5-7 minutes, for 40 days is indicated as a good sadhana. If the mind digraces, don't condemn the mind, don't get annoyed, with smile, with equanimity, bring it back and focus on the irises motionless in the center of the eyes. After some practice you reach a stage when you do not feel like coming out of the silence, which is fine. Do not look forward to anything, learn to love the inner silence and just focus on the irises. The mind is now like that water in the pot slowly sheding its impurities. Just focus on the irises in the center of the eyes, motionless. Go deep. Remain deeply focused, don't become digraced, don't become sleepy, remain deeply focused. Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease. Retain the inner silence throughout the day to the extent possible. Slowly open the eyes.
