Meditation 5– I am witness of the body – DEHA SAKSHI AHAM.

श्रीगणेशायनमः।
श्री गुरुभ्यो: नमः।
Watch the mind, do not ask the question How? Just try. Watch the mind. Drop all the past from the mind and again do not ask how? Just do it. Drop the imagination of the future that leaves me in the present. Free from the entire baggage of the personality. I am. I am in the present. I am the present. I am the presence. I am.   Watch the posture, STHIRA SUKHAM ASANAM. I look at the posture in the freshness of the present. The posture is not the routine one, it is not repetitive, and it is ever fresh. Keep the hands in the MAHA MUDRA. Sport a smile on the lips, the inner smile. Watch the eyes; they are lightly closed without pressing.
Now look at the body as IDAM – this body. Sometimes healthy, sometimes not but always this body. Sometimes in comfort, sometimes not, but always this body. IDAM SHARIRAM. In VIVEKA – discrimination, of the body as this body, helps to reduce the obsession with this body, helps to develop a generous indifference towards the body – this body. Be nice to the body but at the same time indifferent to the body. This VIVEKA frees myself from multiple obsessions. This body. And also makes the body healthier. This body. I have to practice this VIVEKA called VIVEKA ABHYASA, as long as there is strong identity with the body. IDAM SHARIRAM.

Watching the body part by part, helps in many ways, begin with the right foot. Focus on the part to the exclusion of everything else. Try. Right knee. Entire right leg. Do not allow yourself to be distracted, watch the right leg. Left foot. The Focus stays and goes, again stays and again goes. No problem stay focused as well as you can. The left knee. All of the left leg. The abdomen, tummy, watch the small movement of the tummy. You do not move it the cosmic life moves it. Really speaking HIRANYAGARBHA moves it. Watch the chest, again the tiny movement of the entire chest. It’s a machine operated by the cosmic life, through VAYU. Watch the right hand, only the right hand, see the rest of the body is almost absent. The left hand.

Stretch the backbone and watch it beginning with the lower end. Do you see any discomfort or even pain? Do not mentally resist the pain, if it is. Accept it with a smile. Give an autosuggestion to relax. If you have any back pain do not plan for any medicine right way, just play with it and watch it, with a smile. And give the auto suggestion to relax. Slowly move up and come to the neck, and watch the head – this head. Try.   IDAM SHARIRAM. Watch the entire posture – this body. I am the witness of the body. DEHA SHAKSHI AHAM. Seal the meditation on that note, DEHA SAKSHI AHAM.

Relax, sit at ease, keep the eyes closed for a while, and massage the legs if necessary. Slowly open the eys.
