Look at the content of the mind, like smoke in aakasha or fog in aakasha. Drop the entire content with all its variety and be like aakasha.   And pray to lord Ganesha, Shree Ganeshay NamaH, Shree Gurubhyo NamaH Sthira sukhamasanam. As I sit in the posture, the body is sthira, stable, making the mind sthira, thereby bringing into focus or uncovering the Being, sthala. When the mind is quiet, that means various things dropped from the mind, then I am aware of my own Being. Instead of being aware of the things of the world, or of the actions of the body, now I am aware of my own Being, the awareful Being, vid sthala, vid, the knowingness which is sthala, the Being, Vitthala, Vitthala, Vitthala. There is no obliqueness ? (8.30)in the awareful Being, sama, Vitthala is always sama. Sport a smile on the lips, Samoham. As I identify with the mind, I at once becomes vishama, oblique, but as Vitthala I am sama, samoham. Watch the body as this body, I remember the words of the blessed lord with love, idam shariram, this body, this body. Be aware of the body part by part beginning with right foot. If the mind digresses , become alert and with a smile, without any hint of condemnation or frustration, bring it back and focus on right foot, right knee, pull the knee-cap one time and release, the right thigh, the thigh muscles and thigh-bone, the entire right leg. The left foot, the left knee, pull the knee-cap, the left thigh, entire left leg, focus well, go deep into the focus. Between you and the body part, there is no mind, meaning there are no thoughts. This helps in resolving in the awareness of the Being. Be aware of the abdomen, stomach, the dipphragm which seperates the stomach from the lungs, there is slight movement in the diaphragm as you breath in and breath out. When the focus is right, only the diaphragm with its movement is there and the rest of the body doesn't exist or like a shadow it is. Be aware of the chest, notice the slight movement of the chest. It is the rhythm of life, of universal life reflecting in this body and you are the sakshi, witness. Be a witness to the reflection of cosmic body in this body as you watch the chest. This is Buddha's meditation and I am the Buddha. Be aware of the fingertips, fingers, palms, wrists, forearms, elbows, biceps and triceps, shoulders, shoulder blades, make the back erect one more time, keep the smile, accept any small discomfort in the backbone, improve your capacity of acceptance, watch the backbone, lower and move up, in the middle, move up, the top of the backbone, the neck, muscles around, back of the head, earlobes, chin, chicks, lips with the smile, nose. Be aware of the sense of touch at the tip of nose, or at the tip of the nostrils, same, eye-sockets, eyelids, the eyeballs, eyebrows, the center of the eyebrows, forehead, skull and the brain within. This body, idam shariram. I am not the body, I am aware of the body, kshetragynoham. Aum ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Relax, sit at ease, relax. Slowly open the eyes.
