(3) मीढ्वन्स् + अम् । अनुबन्ध-लोपः by 1-3-2 उपदेशेऽजनुनासिक इत्, 1-3-3 हलन्त्यम् and 1-3-9 तस्य लोपः1-3-4 न विभक्तौ तुस्माः prevents the ending मकारः of अम् from getting इत्-सञ्ज्ञा।

(4) मीढ्वान्स् + अम् । By 6-4-10 सान्तमहतः संयोगस्य, since the अम्-प्रत्ययः (a सर्वनामस्थानम् affix) follows, the letter preceding the नकारः of a base that ends in a सकारान्त-संयोग: is elongated.

(5) मीढ्वांसम् । By 8-3-24 नश्चापदान्तस्य झलि, the अपदान्त-नकारः gets अनुस्वार-आदेशः since a झल् letter follows.
